CALDMERE PD — INTERNAL MEMORANDUM
RE: CASE FILE PROCEDURE FOR NEW PERSONNEL
Each day you will receive one official document from the Caldmere case archive. Five words have been redacted for security purposes. Your task is to reconstruct the original text.
Tap any redacted blank to select it. You will see the number of letters and the first letter as reference. Type your guess and submit. You have six attempts per blank. Use them wisely.
Wrong guesses are not wasted entirely. Any letters that do not appear in the word will be crossed off the keyboard, narrowing your investigation.
TIPS
You are issued three tips per day. Each tip reveals one additional letter in any unsolved blank. Tips become available after two wrong guesses and do not carry over. Use them when the fog gets thick.
DIFFICULTY CLASSIFICATION
Cases escalate through the week. Monday is a warm-up — straightforward vocabulary, generous context. By Friday the department expects more from you. Saturday cases are stamped BRUTAL for a reason. Sunday resets.
STREAK PROTOCOL
Solve every day and your streak grows. Miss a day and it resets. The department keeps records. Your longest streak is on file permanently.
